L.L. Bean Revenues Hit $1.59 Billion Last Year


The retailer saw its top line grow 5% from 2019, driven by an increase in demand for outdoor recreation gear and furniture as well as comfort apparel as people worked from home during the pandemic. Bean said that the 2020 Holiday season was its busiest in 20 years, driven by e-commerce especially, but with brick-and-mortar retail supplemented with pop-up shops in 25 cities. It also touted its wholesale partnerships with Nortdstrom, Scheel’s, Staples and Zappos for putting Bean products in 1,200 more retail doors.
