Kohl’s Active and Outdoor Sales Surge 40%


Expanding the category is a strategic priority for KSS, and active sales, including outdoor, increased 40% in the second quarter to 24% of total revenues and were up 20% from 2019, when it accounted for 20% of the top line. KSS called out its usual core brands, Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Columbia and Champion, for driving broad-based growth across apparel and footwear in men’s, women’s, and children’s, adding that Converse and Vans were also selling well. The active brands’ momentum continued into a more normal Back-to-School season this year.
