KKR Formalizes Offer for Accell Group
The €58 per share offer for the Dutch owner of Raleigh, Ghost, Haibike and other brands officially launched on Apr. 7, with an acceptance period running through June 3. Kohlberg Kravis Roberts first announced the takeover in cooperation with Accell’s board in Jan. Several significant shareholders have already pledged to tender their shares, including 10.8% holder Teslin Alpine Acquisition B.V., which is working with KKR and will own about 12% of the company after the deal is complete.
