June Retail Imports Fall, NRF Expects Worst Year Since 2016
Retail imports in June dropped 10.5% to 1.61 million Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units, worse than projections, according to the NRF’s Port Tracker, as the retail group opined that retailers are being careful not to import more than they can sell.
