Journeys, Schuh and Levi’s Power Genesco’s Q2


Net income was $10,937,000 in the second quarter against a loss of $19,036,000 last year, on a 42% rebound in revenues to $555,183,000 up from $391,217,000 boosted by big gains as shoppers returned to stores. GCO did not provide store comps due to the many stores forced to close by the pandemic last year, but e-commerce sales comped down 23% compared to a 144% increase last year, and were up 97% from the same quarter in 2019.
