While an encore of the sporting goods industry’s amazing 32% jump in market capitalization in the pandemic year was unlikely, the public companies we track turned in a respectable weighted average increase in local currencies of almost 10% in 2021. Unlike last year, however, the gains lagged behind global markets overall.
