Hydro Flask Sales Pressured by Weak Back-to-School


Sales at Helen of Troy’s Housewares segment, which includes the drinkware brand, jumped 21% to $222,400,000 in the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30 from $183,211,000 last year, but the gains were driven by OXO, not Hydro Flask. Hydro Flask sales was hurt in the quarter by a soft Back-to-School season in the U.S. as many students were learning remotely outside the classroom. Sales grew in EMEA and Asia-Pacific, however, helped by a significant expansion in distribution.
