Hydro Flask Drives Helen of Troy Q1 Gains


Sales at HELE’s Houseware segment, which includes Hydro Flask, posted revenue up 38% to $193,644,000 in the fiscal first quarter ended May 31, over the prior year’s $140,628,000. Brick-and-mortar sales increases for both the OXO and Hydro Flask brands led growth, with comps up as they lapped the pandemic-impaired prior year. This was joined by growth in international sales and the club and closeout channels. Hydro Flask outperformed in Canada, while EMEA, the Asia-Pacific and Latin America all got a boost from distribution build out.
