Hi-Tec Drives Cherokee Brands in Q1


The Hi-Tec, Magnum and Interceptor brands accounted for $1.7 million in licensing revenues from new and existing deals and $4.2 million in legacy indirect product sales for the quarter ended Apr. 29. CHKE is aggressively expanding global distribution of the Hi-Tec footwear program, and will announce new apparel and accessories licensees for the U.S. and Canada soon. Meanwhile, Tony Hawk licensing revenue was up 7% to $1.3 million. Licensees are expanding the skate brand into accessories, footwear, socks, underwear and sleepwear in the U.S, and into speciality retail, Amazon.com and Walmart.com channels.
