Head Acquires Zoggs Swim Goggles
Head will incorporate the Australian brand of swim goggles into a newly formed Swimming Business Unit with annual revenues estimated at well over €100 million ($113 mm). Zoggs alone has revenues of more than €30 million, and its current CEO, Mark Hammersley, will join Head to lead the new business unit, remaining in the U.K. Head’s diving unit will remain separate. Zoggs had been shopping the deal with a few other candidates including private equity interests, but decided that Head was its best fit. The purchase price was not disclosed.
