Have We Hit Bottom? Not Yet, Most Feel


If we strip out all the one-time aberrations in Q2, the state of the industry looks fairly bleak in many respects. Key retailers like Dick’s and Foot Locker have faltered, key brands like Nike and The North Face are re-setting in their U.S. business and there is widespread agreement that there is more contraction of brick-and-mortar space in front of us.
