Net income for Q4 2018 was $31.6 million compared to a loss of $55.8 million in 2017, the action camera maker’s first GAAP profit in five quarters, on revenue that increased 13% to $377.4 million, driven by growth in camera unit sell-through and market share. Full-year net loss for 2018 narrowed to $109 million, down from 2017’s loss of $182 million. Revenue showed a 3% decrease from 2017 to $1.15 billion. Gross margins increased 1390 bps to 37.7% from 23.8% for Q4, with year-end at 31.5%, a 110 bps decrease from 32.6%.
