GoPro Lowers Q1 Loss


Net loss narrowed by 68% for Q1 to $24,365,000 from a loss of $76,347,000 as revenues increased 20% to $242,708,000. By region, GoPro expanded 300 b.p to 89% unit share and 200 b.p. to 97% dollar share of the action camera category in the U.S. for Q1. The HERO7 Black was the top selling camera in all of digital imaging by unit volume, while and GoPro’s three HERO7 cameras were the top-three selling action cameras according to the NPD Group.
