GOAT Group Receives Strategic Investment from Artemis


Groupe Artémis, Puma’s largest shareholder and owner of a controlling stake in former Puma parent Kering, has made an unspecified investment in the online sneaker and fashion marketplace. The investment follows on the heels of GOAT’s recent $100 million Series E funding round, which was closed in Sep. at a $1.75 billion valuation. Both parties touted the strategic value of the deal, as Artemis’ broad portfolio in the fashion space will help GOAT accelerate growth and diversify its business. GOAT currently boasts 30 million members across 170 countries.
