Foot Locker Plans for Less Nike This Year


Big Foot outlined the adjustments it will be making through 2022 to adapt to its diminished Nike allocation in a round table discussion at the JP Morgan’s Retail Roundup Conference. The largest concern remains with lower quantities of high heat product, sales that will be going directly to Nike’s DTC channel. The days of “getting a couple thousand pairs on Friday and selling them out on Saturday” are expected to be gone with fewer launches of top tier models.
