Fila Bolstered by Acushnet in Q2, as Korea and U.S. Lag
Consolidated net profit nearly tripled in the second quarter to KRW 135,749 million ($121.1 mm) from KRW 45,520 million last year on 63% higher revenues for the group of KRW 1,019,354 million ($909.0 mm) up from KRW 625,011 million. Profits and revenues were up 48% and 6%, respectively, compared to 2019. Gross margin contracted by 100 basis points to 51.3%. Excluding the big top line contribution from its Acushnet subsidiary, revenues were up 24% year-over-year to KRW 318,843 million, and the golf company also accounted for the bulk of profits.
