FDRA Speaks Out on Impact of Trans-Pacific Partnership
The Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America spoke on behalf of the footwear industry Jan. 27 as U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman testified before the U.S. Senate Finance and House Ways and Means Committees on the potential impact of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The trade group contends TPP would provide over $400 million in duty savings for the footwear industry and U.S. consumers, and would spur the creation of footwear-related jobs in the U.S.
