Helped by broad-based increases in all categories except outdoor, along with a big boost from Peloton, the global equipment market increased 3.5% in 2019 to an estimated $83,459 million from $80,599 million. The U.S. market gained 3.9% to $36,423 million from $35,068 million and the international market grew 3.3% to $47,036 million from $45,531 million. The gains represent a slight deceleration from 2018’s solid 4.0% improvement, which followed two years that were barely above flat.
