Double-digit growth in every product category powered the sports equipment market to a 24.2% increase in total sales to $111,158 million up from $89,473 million, building on an 11.7% improvement in the pandemic year. While the U.S. handily outperformed international markets in 2020, the tables turned last year as Non-U.S. sales grew 26.0% to $61,146 million from $48,511 million, and the domestic market gained 22.1% to $50,012 million from $40,962 million. The global total and both regional totals are the highest we’ve seen in the more than two decades we’ve tracked the market.
