Dicks Sued Over Private Label Ammo Contract
BBM claims in a suit filed in Pittsburg federal court that Dick’s ordered ammunition under its Field & Stream label which it acquired for $4,492,550 that it agreed to take delivery on by Nov. 16, 2016, but it failed to take delivery on $3,071,910 of it until the following August. In addition to the costs of warehousing and insuring the inventory, BBM claims that the lack of cash from the Dick’s transaction was the reason that it lost a deal to sell helicopters to the Lebanese government on which it would have made a $5,224,000 profit.
