Net income was up 39% to $1,311,000 in DLA’s second fiscal quarter ended Mar. 28 from $942,000 on sales that were down 6% to $96,660,000 from $102,838,000 last year, as the coronavirus slowed down a 9% growth pace early in the quarter. Delta Group sales dipped 6%, as double-digit growth from Fun-Tees was more than offset by negative results for the catalog business. Activewear was on track for unspecified strong growth before March shutdowns.
