Deckers Tops $3 Billion in Record Year


Net income rose 106% to $68,819,000 from $33,458,000 for the three months ended Mar. 31 as total revenues grew 31% to $736,007,000 from $561,188,000, driven by a big jump from Hoka. DECK took a 450-basis point hit to gross margin as it declined to 48.7%, largely on higher ocean and air freight costs and currency impacts. By channel, wholesale revenues grew 38% to $448.8 million and direct-to-consumer sales increased 19% on a comparable basis to $287.2 million.
