Currency Flattens Sales In Rugged Outdoor


With the euro appreciating some 20% against the US$ and many of the key brands operating in that currency, the rugged outdoor market was able to eke out just a 1.5% growth rate to $4,590 million from $4,521 million. While the U.S. market showed solid growth of 9% to $2,054 million from $1,890 million, the international market fell 4% to $2,536 million from $2,631 million.
