Pou Chen, which makes sneakers for Nike and Adidas, among many other brands, has been ordered to temporarily shutter its Pouyuen, Vietnam, factory for failing to meet social distancing rules imposed by the government. According to reports in local media, the factory employs 70,000 and is operating three shifts a day. The mayor of Ho Chi Minh City imposed a three-day suspension of operations, which coincides with the end of 15-day social distancing order that expires Apr. 15.
