Caleres has begun a phased reopening of its Famous Footwear and brand portfolio retail stores in areas where restrictions on non-essential retail have been lifted, and it expects to have 435 locations open by the end of May. By the end of June, CAL expects “the vast majority” of its fleet be open for in-store service. The retailer already has curb side pickup running at 170 locations, and that service will be expanded to nearly 300 stores by next week.
