Adidas and Carbon, its 3D Futurecraft sole provider, are collaborating to producing 3D-printed face shields for healthcare workers during the coronavirus pandemic. Carbon is currently producing more than 18,000 face shields a week, after shifting all manufacturing at its CA facilities last month to focus on developing medical supplies. Carbon is also making the print files available so anyone with a Carbon printer can make face shields for their local area.
