Columbia Shuts Downtown Store over Protest
COLM closed its downtown store last weekend because protestors objected to increased police presence in the area that has targeted homeless after Columbia and numerous other business owners complained about public safety for their employees and customers. Last month, COLM said it was considering closing its downtown Sorel office after a series of confrontations with homeless people, car break-ins and other incidents.
