Inked Flash, a company owned by the controversial former quarterback and Nike endorser, filed a trademark application with the USPTO for the word mark, “Believe in Something, Even if it Means Sacrificing Everything.” The tag line was featured over an image of his face in Eager Beavertons’ 30th anniversary Just Do It ad that sparked boycott threats but was ultimately seen as resonating positively with its core audience.
