Clarus Loss Shrinks on Big Q2 Sales Jump


The net loss was $777,000 compared to a loss of $3,654,000 for Q2 ended Jun. 30 as sales rose 50% to $45,881,000 from $30,680,000. Domestic sales jumped 64% to $27,845,000 from $16,996,000 while international was up 32% to $18,036,000 from $13,684,000. This year’s results included $10.9 million in sales from the Sierra Bullets acquisition. Clarus said that on a pro forma basis, Sierra Bullets sales improved 32% while Black Diamond sales rose 14%.
