Huntsman Textile Effects is now managing the Teflon durable water repellence business including stain finishes and textile finishes such as Teflon EcoElite and Eco Dry. The two companies have been allied since the 1990s to provide DWR solutions to the textile industry. The partnership has been at the forefront of DWR innovation, recently pioneering non-fluorinated alternatives such as Chemours’ Zelan R3 repellant and Huntsman’s PHOBOTEX RSY. Chemours will continue to manage the Teflon textile finishes brand usage and logo.
