Michael Avenatti, arrested for extorting Nike and also facing charges of tax and loan fraud, released a trove of documents detailing payments from two Nike employees to the family, handlers and coaches of several high profile high school athletes, including D’Andre Ayton, a former Arizona player now in the NBA, Brandon McCoy, who played at UNLV, and Bol Bol, a highly prized recruit now at Oregon.
