Athleta Finishes 2020 with Solid Q4 Gains
Sales at GPS’ women’s activewear banner increased 29% to $371 million in the final quarter ended Feb. 1 from $288 million, including a +26% comp that was boosted by new product launches in sleepwear and extending inclusive sizing. Gross margin expanded compared to last year on a much lower level of promotions, and the banner is GPS’ highest margin business. New customer acquisition increased 70% versus last year. ...
