Athleta Finishes 2019 Just Shy of $1 Billion
Athleta sales, which parent GPS now breaks out separately, increased 10% to $288 million from $263 million in the fourth quarter and were up 11% in 2019 to $978 million from $881 million, with operating income said to be up low-double digits. Comp store sales increased 2% in Q4 against 7% in Q4 ’18, and were up 5% for the full year lapping a 9% increase in 2018.
