Richard Sullivan, who was most recently EVP of digital, has been elevated to president and COO of the Japanese brand’s North American operations. He was a key player in Asics’ restructuring in the region over the past two years, overseeing digital, sales, marketing and merchandising. That turnaround was making solid progress, stemming sales declines in 2019, but the coronavirus pandemic derailed progress in 2020. Current Asics North America CEO, Koichiro Kodama, has been appointed to a new global role as managing executive officer at company headquarters in Kobe, Japan.
