American Outdoor Brands Tells Blackrock it Supports Enforcing Existing Laws
Responding to an inquiry that the huge fund manager sent to a number of firearms manufacturers, American Outdoor Brands issued a response to its second largest shareholder with 8.0% detailing its compliance procedures and backing stronger reporting requirements for the existing NICS background checks, but it made no mention of requiring the extension of background checks to private gun sales and said it opposed requiring so-called smart technology on guns as unreliable though it was not opposed to further development.
