Amer Buys Peak Performance to Grow Soft Goods Presence


With already about €1.1 billion in soft goods sales, Amer has added the Danish brand to its portfolio with some €145 million in sales, €16.5 million in EBIT at a cost of €255 million that will be paid to IC Group in cash. The deal is expected to have a minor impact on 2018 results after closing this summer, but Amer expects to deliver €5 million in revenue synergies and another €5 million in cost synergies by 2020. Peak Performance has seen roughly 10% growth rate in recent years.
