Adobe, Salesforce Track Holiday Online Sales


Adobe Analytics found that U.S. e-commerce sales were up 32% to $188.2 billion this holiday season, while Salesforce was more optimistic, reporting a 43% jump in U.S. online sales to $236 billion. Salesforce said that global e-commerce sales increased even more, expanding by 50% to $1.1 trillion worldwide between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. Adobe added that online spending was over $1 billion on every day of the two-month holiday shopping period, including Christmas Eve, and that Cyber Monday sales surpassed $10 billion for the first time.
