Adidas Faces Internal Criticism over Diversity
As the country grapples with the George Floyd killing and protests, Adidas is called out by black employees in the U.S. as 13 employees formed a coalition aimed at creating rapid change in the brand’s diversity. The employees, in a memo to senior management first reported by Footwear News, said the company fails to grasp the depth of racial discrimination black employees face, particularly from the German headquarters. They seek a commitment to invest in black employees, the black community, racial equality and transparency.
