Activist Investors Plan to Fight Election of Two Sturm, Ruger Directors
Majority Action and the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility announced they would ask shareholders to withhold their votes for the company’s chairman, Michael Jacobi, and Sandra Froman, a director and past president of the NRA, because of what they see as a lack of responsiveness to the vote they won last year requiring a report to shareholders on the safety of its products. A similar measure was passed by shareholders of American Outdoor Brands, parent of Smith & Wesson.
