Net income increased 55% in the final quarter ended Jan. 29 to $141,770,000 from $91,522,000 on 13% higher revenues of $1,808,470,000 up from $1,597,436,000, including a 13.1% improvement in same store sales, lapping a +16.1% comp last year. E-commerce sales did even better, growing 23% in Q4, and were up 97% from 2019, helped by improvements in website functionality and a new mobile app. E-commerce accounted for almost 13% of revenues in the quarter, and about half of online sales are BOPIS, with 75% of orders fulfilled from stores. Number of transactions and average ticket were both higher.
