Academy’s fight against several lawsuits brought by victims of the Sunderland Springs mass shooting, is proceeding in TX Supreme Court after that state’s Fourth Court of Appeals denied a motion to dismiss the suits. The shooter purchased the Ruger AR-556 MSR used in the crime at an Academy store in San Antonio, and the plaintiffs want to hold the retailer liable for damages.
